The Start of CMO 65:
Still located in Kalimantan, this time we were heading to GBI Sameang. Located in Seginah Sub-Village, Aur Sampuk Village, Sengah Temila District, Landak Region, West Kalimantan Province. The journey took three hours from Pontianak. Praise the Lord, the road to go there is already smooth, so it was quite trouble free for us to reach the location.
Finally, on 12th May 2019, Anugrah Ministries appointed GBI Sameang as CMO 65th project. The project started with the signing of MOU between Anugrah Ministries and GBI Sameang (under the leadership of Ps. Yustino Gulo). Even though the pastor is originally from Nias, North Sumatra, his calling is to serve the people in Kalimantan. He is currently pastoring 30 people in his congregation, who mostly work as farmers.
When we looked at building condition, it clearly needed to be renovated. We will have to demolish the old building, to make sure it will be safe for them to worship there. After that, we will rebuild a brand-new church building.
He is a God who provides. Every CMO project is given His mercy and provision. Thanks to our partners whom God used as instruments to support the ministry of our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ in spreading the Gospel. Your support means a lot for the Body of Christ. The Lord Jesus loves you!
