It feels like we approached our 70th CMO project in the blink of an eye. This
time, the church that we are making over is still in the region of Western
Kalimantan. We are focusing on the churches in this region because there are
still many lives that need to be touched, and many churches in the front lines
that needs support.
The church we are supporting this time is Gereja Kristus Yesus Tuhan Indonesia
(Church of Jesus Christ the Lord), also known as GKTI Jemaat Doulos Batu
Karang. It takes a long journey of 6 hours by car to reach the church. The roads
are not made of asphalt, but are rocky dirt roads.
Pastor Ayub Saryoso, who comes from Central Java has a heart to serve 20
members of the congregation, who are mostly farmers or workers in the
agriculture sector. They yearn to finish building their house of worship.
For this 70th CMO, the deliverables are:
1. Making of a concrete fence to surround the church
2. Installation of ceramic tiles for the terrace floor
3. Making of a bathroom
It truly is a joy every time we embark on a new CMO project. Thank you for your
endless support and prayers through every CMO project. We have to keep
believing and having faith that this CMO will be seen until the end. This will
support the teaching of good news and His Word in Western Kalimantan, and
