This is the ground breaking event of the CMO 4 program for the GKII (Gereja Kemenangan Iman Indonesia Victory by Faith Church of Indonesia) in Padang, West Sumatra. This program is a continu-ation of what Anugrah Ministries have been doing in order to bless the region of Padang after the massive 7.6 RS earthquake that rocked the region on 30th of September 2009.
Ps. Daniel Hendrata in this chance, preached from Isaiah 43:18-19 about “Forgetting the Past.” With this ground breaking, it is a dawn of a new day because God has started something new for His people in Padang. He also believes that day to be a symbol of the rebuilding of Padang.On that day, many Senior Pastors from different churches and denominations came and witnessed this historic event.
Ps. Rosmidawati Sinaga, as the Senior Pastor of the GKII in Padang also had a chance to thank Anugrah Ministries and their partners who really took a step of faith to believe in them. It was truly a divine appointment of how GKII was brought into the picture and approached by Anugrah Ministries for this project. It has to be God who had organized this union, thus our church is now being rebuilt, said Ps. Rose in her speech.
