The Start of CMO 57:
For the 57th project of CMO, we are going back to East Kalimantan, to renovate a church in the region of West Kutai. Majority of the people there are from the tribe of Dayak Benuaq. The difference between the people of Benuaq and other Dayaks is they have left behind the nomad lifestyle. The church that we are going to makeover is GSJA Filadelfia. Located in Empakuq Village, Melak District, West Kutai Region, East Kalimantan Province. Led under the leadership of Ps. Juanta Sirait dan his wife Ps. Yuni Dwi Agustine. They have been ministering there with their two children.
On the 15th of February 2019, we were signing the MOU. After that, we held a short service to give thanks to God because their church had been chosen to be the 57th CMO project of Anugrah Ministries. The congregation was really rejoicing as God has finally answered their prayer and the desire of their hearts.
These are the things we will do to this church building measuring 6x15m:
1. Demolish the old building and install the flooring structure
2. Install plywood walls and floors
3. Install light steel roofing and ceiling
4. Install doors and windows
5. Build Bathroom
6. Install Electricity
7. Finishing and painting the walls
