Reading Verse: Judges 1:1-36

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:28

Rosa Kutty is a former Indian middle–distance runner in the 1990s. In 1992, she suffered a stressed fracture, however she managed to win a gold medal and break the record in the national game for 400 m and 800 m. Before she became successful, Rosa Kutty had to go through a process. When she was a child, Rosa had to run to market for 5 km to help her family sell fruits. And it turned out that God was preparing her to be an athlete. In this life, oftentimes we experience hardship, or a process that is not comfortable to our flesh, but everything brings goodness to us. Each of us experience different processes. Some people experience extreme hardships and take longer time, but the purpose remains the same, which is to shape us to become perfect. In the Word of God, Joseph went through a long process. But, when the process was finished, he could see the beautiful plan from God for his life.

While experiencing a process, we have to remember that Jeremiah 29:11 mentions that the plan of God is full with peace, so don’t give up, complain or be angry at God. Instead, endure the process since there is always a beautiful purpose and plan from God behind the struggles that we experience. Although it doesn’t look nice, believe that God never plans bad things for us. Even though we don’t understand and haven’t seen His plan, someday God will reveal His best will to us. Romans 8:28 says that in all things God works for the good of those who love him. With every process that we experience, God is preparing us to become a strong and unshakeable personality. And God wants us to have mature faith. Going through process is not easy. Ask God for strength so we are enabled to pass the process. Without a process, we will never experience breakthrough and see new things.

In this life, God didn’t promise that we would have it all instantly. Oftentimes it takes a process for us. Behind every process lies God’s blessing, which will be beautifully revealed in the right time. Our part is to endure the process until the end. Those who can endure will achieve victory.
