Reading Verse: Joshua 18:1-28

But your iniquities have separated you from your God;
your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.

Isaiah 59:2

The simplest thing to do in Christian life is to pray. However, we don’t do it often because sometimes we ignore praying without realizing it. Praying is the most important because it is one way to communicate with our Father in heaven. By praying we can reveal our heart and declare our longing to God. Without praying our spiritual life will become dry and it will stop our communication with God. Praying is not only a way of communication, but also a way to build a close relationship with God. God desires to be close to us all the time. When we are close to God, we will have peace, wisdom and revelation from God. Therefore, spare some time to pray to God. By praying we involve God to take part in our whole life. Allow God to work in us because He is God who always gives the best for us.

One key to get our prayers answered is having righteous life before God, because sin is the obstacle for God to answer our prayers. Remember that God is holy, so we must guard our lives to be pleasing before Him. When we live right, God will answer our prayers. It is written in James 5:16B that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Live in righteousness makes our prayers get answered. After we pray, worry no more, but have faith that God has answered our prayers. We need to pray with trust and faith to God and we should not be overcome by worry because worried people will never get anything. Even though we haven’t seen the answer to our prayers today, let us keep our faith that God will answer eacj of our prayers. Give all of our problems to God through prayers, then God will reveal His power upon us.

Nothing is impossible if we pray. Nothing is difficult when we ask God through our prayers because prayer has power. Do not stop praying even our prayer hasn’t got an answer. Continue persevering in praying, in every hope, because God who always listens to our prayers never let down those who put hope in Him. He always listens and answers our prayers according to His beautiful timing.
