The Fundamental of Success

Reading Verse: Exodus 23:1-33

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles.

And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us

Hebrew 12:1

Everyone has a desire to have a successful life. There are a few things to meditate on if we want to have a victorious life. The main fundamental of success is that we must become someone who can be trusted by God and other people. The Word of God says that if we can be trusted in small things, He will grant us big things, meaning that we have to be responsible to all things that God has entrusted us. For example, when we are in ministry, we have to be faithful in any ministry that God has trust us with so that we can achieve success. There is also a story in the bible where Joseph was trusted by Pharaoh and Joseph became his trust worthy man and became powerful in Egypt. To become a person that can be trusted we have to watch our attitude, manner, and our words so that whatever we do can be trusted by others.

In addition, perseverance is needed to achieve success because success can’t be reached instantly. Like a farmer who is waiting for harvest has to persevere in taking care of his crops and must wait patiently for the harvest time. Although we perseverem sometimes we may experience failures. But don’t quit, keep moving forward to reach victory. We have to do our parts, and give the rest to God, then He will work in us. Believe that when we keep persevering in our work, God will bless our efforts and He makes everything beautiful in His time. Perseverance has to go with diligence, because it will be hard for lazy people to achieve success.

In order to gain success, we also have to be able to go through every challenge. Life doesn’t always go as we want it to be. There are obstacles or challenges on our way to achieve success. When a problem comes our way, we should never stop but keep grinding and focus on the main destination. We all can’t face problems alone, we need to walk with God because with Him we will be able to encounter every problem.

Let’s from this moment on we do all things with perseverance, diligence, and with God we will reach victory.
