Living in Prosperity

Reading Verse: Genesis 10:1-32

But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law he meditate day and night.

Psalms 1:2

Each of us is longing for a life full of success and prosperity, but the truth is that there are many unexpected situations, such as failures, problems, and obstacles in our life. However, we should never give up in hard situations because from the very beginning God has determined us to be conquerors. He desires each of us to live in prosperity. When we encounter problems, it is part of the process to reach success.

In order to live in prosperity, the main thing that we should do is to ask God’s guidance. As the story of Joseph in the palace of Pharaoh, God was always with Joseph. In the end, God made Joseph a successful man. In this life, the most important thing is the guidance of God, because with His guidance we will prosper. Even though we are in deep troubles, if God is with us, He will make us live a prosperous life. Remember that without His guidance, all things that we do is useless. Thus, whatever we are doing today, let each of us involve and ask for His guidance so that everything will be successful.

Next thing to do is meditating in the Word of God (Psalms 1:2-3), because His word will give us wisdom and understanding that will guide us towards victory. Every promise in the Word of God will be fulfilled in our life because God never lies in each of His promise. When we keep meditating the law of the Lord day and night, we will become like a plant at the flowing water, that is always fruitful and which leaves never die; whatever we do will prosper. It is written in Joshua 1:8 that if we meditate and do His word, then our life will be prosperous and successful. Thereforem we should persevere in reading and meditating the Word of God.

Perseverence is required in order to obtain good success. Nothing happens instantly. It takes a process to reach success. So, don’t give up easily. We should be able to persevere in everything that we do. Whatever comes along the way, we must face it and keep moving forward. A successful life is not a life without failure. It’s just that we have to be able to stand up every time we fall in order to enjoy victory. Keep your spirit up in going through this life, because God is always with us.

He will bring us into a victorious life. Amen.
