Reading Verse: Leviticus 2:1-16

In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said:

‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’

Acts 20:35

Our decisions depend on many choices in life. In general, people choose to live happily. The true happiness doesn’t come from material things, and it can’t be bought by anything. To live happily, we need to guard our heart from envy, hatred, and vengeance. Oftentimes envy can depreciate our peace. It is written in Proverbs 4:23 that we should guard our heart because everything we do flow from it. Therefore, we should be grateful to God because He always gives us the best. Don’t be envious with what others have so that we can experience happiness in God.

A happy life is when we are able to surrender all of our life to God, and when we don’t rely on our own strength. When we surrender, we can rest assure that we don’t need to be worried and always be joyful in God. It is written in Jeremiah17:7 that blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, because He is Lord who never disappoints us; He is Lord who has power to help us. So, never walk with your own anxiety, but surrender to the Lord.

Learn to give will make our life happy. The Word of God says that it is happier to give than receiving. Therefore, let’s learn to share, to help, to support each other and give the best to others. Our life will be more beautiful if we can share with others.

We can have a happy life when we are always close to Jesus, because He is our source of joy. The peace that we have while we are in Him is not the same with peace that the world offers. The peace form God is eternal, so if we want to be happy, don’t get far from Him; instead have a close relationship with Jesus.

Only with Jesus can we be always be happy, joyful, and have victorious life. Amen.
