Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’

As the believers of Jesus Christ, there are certain things we should pay attention to so that we don’t only believe God, but also follow Him forever. First of all, we must have commitment. No matter what happens, we have to choose following God, and make Him everything. There are many challenges out there but our commitments towards Christ should be stronger than our problems. Don’t let our faith be defeated by our problems. A commitment means we keep our faith in any circumstances by keep following Him. Remember that Jesus is faithful to us, so we should be faithful following Him. Our commitments and faith in God will be worth it.

Moreover, we should have a close relationship with Jesus as it is greater than anything. It is written in the Word of God that every morning Jesus set His time alone to pray to Father in heaven. Similarly, we should set a special time to be quiet in His presence. The quiet moments with God will bring us closer to our Father so our Christianity faith will grow stronger. And God will show us which way to go, so we can walk according to His plan.

As the followers of Jesus, we need to have strong faith that is not easily shaken by any situations. Don’t let our faith be shaken by temporary things. What we see before us may be tempting, but not everything is fit to God’s will. Therefore, in our walk in life, let’s keep our faith to God

Furthermore we need love for God and love for others. The Word of God says that we should love God with all our hearts, with all our souls, and with all our minds. Remember that God has already showed His love for us so we should love God. In addition we must be able to love others so our lives reflect the light of Christ.

Let’s follow Him faithfully regardless of any circumstances, until we receive the crown of life from Him.

The foundation of Christianity is to love God in addition to loving others.
