Reading Verse: Numbers 33:1-56
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
Psalms 46:1
While Job was having hard times in his life, those moments were difficult temptations for him. He went through all by himself since everyone left him including his wife. However God never left him alone. In the midst of troubles, Jesus was there to help, to bless, and to restore his life until Job realized that God is able to do all things in His way miraculously, and His plans never fail. In life, problems and challenges often times shake our lives and make us bitter. But at least we have to be strong and remain firm because God is able to help us. It is written in Psalms 46:1 that God is ever-present help in trouble because He is the Almighty God. Never doubt His great power.
As the true helper, Jesus is never late and His help always comes on time. As He was invited to heal Lazarus, Jesus didn’t come right away until Lazarus died, and seeing this God wasn’t stand still. God got a beautiful plan and He raised Lazarus from the death and this became a testimony for many people.
Believe that nothing is difficult to the Lord. He is always able to help us because He has many ways out. He has even arranged everything that we might not have thought of so that we have the best way out. For example, in the case of Jesus feeding 5000 people with only 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish, He can do that because for Him nothing is impossible.
Never feel that we have heavy problems, since Philippians 4:13 says that I can bear all things through Him who gives me strength. In Jesus alone, we will be strong in facing troubles. Continue our hope in God, and never dwell or focus in problems. On the other hand, let’s keep our eyes on Jesus because the help comes from the Lord. Amen.
Continue hope in the Lord and never dwell in problems.
