Blessing the Nations in North America, 17th July – 2nd Sept 2014

On these dates, Ps. Daniel Hendrata and Ps. Debby Catharina, together with their two children, Angeline and James were ministering in North America.

Both pastors graduated from North America in 1997, but had not had a chance to go back there for 17 years. This trip was very special for them in many ways.

In total they visited 8 cities in the United States of America: Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle, Philadelphia, Washington DC, New York, Stratford. In Canada, they visited Vancouver, BC.

They spent 7 Sundays there, ministering in 24 services altogether. Many were blessed by their ministry, many were strengthened, counseled and prayed for. New networks have been established too between Anugrah Ministries and the churches there, namely International Bethany Community Church of God California (IBCCOGCA), JKI Anugrah, Brea Favor of God, GBI LA, Great Awakening Church, International Full Gospel Fellowship (IFGF), Bethel Church California, House For All Nations, Bethany Church of God, Bethany Community Church, Bethany Indo Church of God. All glory to God!

It was extraordinary when Ps. Daniel got to preach together with his highschool bestfriend, Ps. Yoga Firmansyah in IFGF SF. It was rewarding to get to meet Ps. Yuyun Tjahjana who led Ps. Daniel into repentance and baptized him in 1995, and to be able to minister in his church IFGF Vancouver. It was really amazing to be able to meet Ps. Sonny Mandagie, in whose church Ps. Daniel grew during his early years of Christianity, and to be able to minister in his church HFAN. It meant a lot for Ps. Debby to be able to minister in Bethany Church of God in Philadelphia (under the leadership of Ps. Lukas Kusuma), since she used to go to school in Philadelphia in 1993-1995.

Ps. Daniel and his family got to meet new friends, but at the same time had many sweet reunions with old friends whom they had not met for many, many years. It was a blessing all in all, especially when they got to attend the Flag Raising Ceremony on Indonesian Independence Day in the City Hall of Philadelphia, and got to meet the Indonesian Consulate General from New York City, Mr. Ghafur Dharmaputra. It was the first time in history that Indonesian Flag was raised in the City Hall of Philadelphia, and they were honored to be a part of the history.
