From The Chairman : City on A Hill

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden” (Matthew 5:14)

2015 has proven to be a challenging year for everyone. Economic crisis that hit many parts of the world has brought tremendous impact, even to the Christians. However, we want to remind you that Jesus was very confident when He said that we are the light of this world. Light functions better when there is darkness. The darker this world gets, the brighter we all will shine. Yes, the wind and storm obviously will blow and try to put off our light; the world is watching and waiting how we are going to surrender and raise a white flag. On the other hand, Jesus confidently said, “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven” (Matt 5:16).

Therefore as we are going to close this year and start 2016, I want to release a prophetic direction that will lead and strengthen you. “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10). As you depend on God, His strength, and wisdom, the Holy Spirit will guarantee the supply of your oil. Your light will keep burning, no matter what. We cannot depend on our own strength and ability. Jesus will be there to hold our hands. Believe and live in Him, and you shall see abundance of wisdom, peace, and strength. You will soar high like an eagle.

Anugrah Ministries had finished her first decade. The first few years were not easy; we even had to stop. We were confused and kind of lost, but it turned out to be a moment of rest, a sabbatical moment. During that time, God worked miraculously behind the scene. Jesus even performed miracles during Sabbath. That’s what happened to us: we regain our strength and received our breakthrough during our Sabbatical. The rest is history, and by His grace, we are able to finish the first 10 years of Anugrah Ministries.

Now, entering the next decade, we will still be running the three pillars: Media, Compassion to the poor, and Outreach to the body of Christ. Plus, God wants us to build the fourth pillar, which is Anugrah Network: a HUB that will connect both individual and corporate donators to the needy, to give scholarship for the poor, to sharpen entrepreneurial skill, to provide opportunity for micro enterprises. Pray for us as we pray for you all. May the Lord shower His blessing for us all! Amen!
