Reading Verse: Deuteronomy 3:1-29

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:57

There is a story about a farmer being asked whether he had planted wheat for the season at that time. The farmer replied, “I haven’t, I’m afraid it will not rain.” He was asked again “Do you plant corn?” The farmer replied, “No, I’m afraid insects will attack it.” Then, he was asked again, “So, what do you plant?” The farmer once again replied, “Nothing. I don’t want to take the risk.” From this story, we can say that a success begins when someone is willing to take any risks including failures. On the other hand, when we are passive, we will have difficulties in achieving success. Without an attempt to try, it will be difficult for us to gain victory. Despite of the risks, big or small, we must keep going.

There are many risks in life that we must encounter, for example when we love somebody but they reject us. Or when we are trying to be kind to someone, this is also risky since there is a possibility that he only wants to use us. So many people become pessimistic and hesitate to try. As a result, they don’t do anything and stay still. With this passive act, we may have lost many good opportunities from God, including the victory we are supposed to have. Therefore, don’t give up; we must keep trying to move on until we reach success. Never be afraid to try something good, because God created us to be more than conquerors. Even though we have experienced failures in the past, we should keep being optimistic and keep rising because God will bring us into victory and plan goodness for us. He will never let His children go through something bad.

When we walk through life, we should not look at how big the risk will be, but we should focus on God who is always with us. Only those who are willing to keep going through the risk will reach success. Regardless of our situations right now, do not doubt, keep moving forward because God has already prepared victory for us. Even though there are many risks and challenges in life, we must keep our spirit up.

Basically all things we do have risks, it all depends on how we respond to it.
