Reading Verse: Exodus 27:1-21

“But my righteous one will live by faith.
And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.”

Hebrews 10:38

As believers, faith is the foundation of everything. All things must be done in faith. Hebrews 11:1 says that faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Troubles and failures that we experience in life may weaken our faith and make us doubt God. Therefore, from time to time our faith must be strengthened. One way to strengthen faith is by reading the Word of God because it contains God’s promises that can strengthen our faith. His promises will always be fulfilled, so there will always be hope within us. So, whenever in troubles, read the Word of God so that our faith is raised again. We also can listen to sermons as in Romans 10:17 it is written that faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. So, it is very important for us to hear the Word of God in order for our faith to be raised again.

Another way to strengthen faith is through prayers or silence, because when we are quiet before God our faith will be strengthened. While we are praying we can ask Jesus to strengthen our faith, and He will give it to us.

Reading Christian books, praising God, going to church regularly can also give strength to our faith. Praising God can definitely strengthen faith because there is power in every praise. So when we are in troubles, praise the Lord so that our heart be strengthened.

The proof that we have faith in Jesus is we will not become doubtful when troubles come. We have a true heart and keep trusting that God is able to help. He sees our true heart when we have faith in Him.

Having a strong faith doesn’t mean that we will never be wavering, but when the faith starts to become weak we’ve got to strengthen our faith in Jesus. No matter what our situations are at this moment, never shrink back from faith. Instead, keep your faith in Jesus because everything will turn out good. Believe that all things will be done by God beautifully in its time. Amen.

Keep your faith in Jesus because everything will turn out good.
