Reading Verse: Deuteronomy 23:1-25
But if I live, I can do more fruitful work for Christ. So I really don’t know which is better.
Philippians 1:22
When Jesus saw a fruitless fig tree, He commanded that the fruit be cut off since it does not bear fruits. But, the owner of the tree asked for a chance to take care of it as he was hoping that the tree would be fruitful someday. Life is an opportunity from God for us to bear fruits, especially the fruits of the Holy Spirit. God is longing to see us bear sweet fruits. When we have a purpose to be fruitful, then in living this life we will have a clear direction and destination. If God still gives us a chance to live today, it means that He is longing to see us become fruitful, either in ministry or in our faith as Christians. He desires us to continually grow and be fruitful. We must be able to use every chance God has given us so that the time we have is not wasted. Make use of the existing time for God. There are many opportunities God has given us to be close to Him. He wants us to spare time with Him, because He is longing to have a close relationship with His people. When we have the time, let us always get close with God. He even gives us time to serve and share the Gospel.
We also have to use our chances well if we want to live a victorious life. Not everyone got a chance, so don’t let us lose the chance we have. Sometimes, there are no second chances. As a chance may only come once in a lifetime, we should not be reckless in using the chance. God gives us a chance so we can achieve the best thing. Keep in mind that chance and time will not go back, therefore get all chances in this world and use them well so that we can gain victory and maximize our lives. We may someday get another chance, but it will never be exactly the same because past chances can’t return.
Make sure that in life we try our best to use every chance God has given us, so that in the end we get something good.
