Reading Verse: Numbers 22:1-41

“But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ”

Philippians 3:7

Everybody has a past, whether it’s good or bad. The most important thing is not about how bad our pasts are, but we should be able to forget our past that could make us hard to move on. We should be courageous to step towards our future because God has prepared the best for us. Not only should we be able to forget the past, but we should live by His grace. Many people can’t forget their past, and they become pessimistic or lose their purposes in life.

Never let our lives be overcome by our past. Discard all negative thoughts and fill ourselves with positive things because God has a plan and a beautiful purpose for us. It doesn’t matter how bad our past are, God still desires to accept us as who we are, and He is willing to heal our lives. We should be able to rise up from the past by doing the best that we can do, and leave the rest to God.

We need to focus on God as the source of our lives, and we should not get affected by our past. It is written in Philippians 3: 7 that the things which were gain to us are now garbage as our relationship with Jesus is the most sacred of all. Take a commitment to leave everything behind and enter into His beautiful plan instead. We have to have a purpose in life in order to reach our dream rather than focusing on the failures. Despite of our failures in the past, never feel worthless because a failure is only a process in life and with God we will have victory.

Be conquerors in the Lord by courageously leaving everything behind. Let us live this life with the freedom from the past. Let us be free and live in the victorious life that God has given us. Amen.
