Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.

I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

Isaiah 41:10

When the Israelites went out from Egypt, God brought them through a desert for 40 days and 40 nights. All Israelites went through extreme heat of the sun, so they were complaining all the time and desiring to go back to Egypt. But God had a purpose behind everything that happened: He wanted to train the faith of Israelites to become strong. God wanted them to know how big and powerful he is even in a desert they lacked no good things. God gave them guidance by pillars of clouds during the day, and pillars of fire at night so that they would always be under His protection. As in our journey of life, life changes all the time. Joy and sorrow come and go, and sometimes we also have to go through a desert, problems, trials, and challenges. But no matter where we are, do not be afraid because God is always with us. Even though we have to go through a desert, God is faithful and never leaves us. He will always be with us. His presence is so perfect.

When God allows us to go through a desert, actually He has intention and purpose. He wants our faith to be mature and make us grow. So, we don’t need to worry because we go through it all. When we are in a desert, stay close to God because He is the source of our strength. With God, we will be strong and able to go through every problem. When we are close to God, our soul will also have peace because He is the source of our peace. Therefore, in any situations, don’t be panic, keep calm and close to God then everything can be handled well.

When we are in a desert, God will always reveal His miracles and help. The power of God can help us, no matter how big the problem is; believe that He is able to help. In addition, keep your focus on God in going through a desert so that our faith becomes strong. Our help is from God alone. Even though there are many trials, keep your faith that God’s blessings lie behind each process that happens.

In life, God doesn’t always promise that there will be no challenges; we will not be in our comfort zone forever, don’t be afraid because there will always be the best purpose for us. He will give victory.
