God Remembers Us

Reading Verse: Genesis 9:1-29

And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;

Genesis 9:9

When Noah and his family were in the ark, God never left him. God still remembered him. In the end God told Noah and his family to get out of the ark.

Sometimes in this life, when we encounter problems, we might feel God is far from us, even we feel like He leaves us alone. But, we should never feel that God has left us because He never forgets His children. Even though we feel like He has forgotten us, God always remembers us. It is written in Isaiah 49:16 that God has graven us upon the palm of His hands, which means that He always watches our life. We don’t need to worry or be afraid anymore because we are truly special before God. Kita tidak perlu kuatir atau takut lagi, diri kita sungguh sangatlah istimewa di hadapan Tuhan. It is written in Hebrews 13:5 that God will never leave us nor forsake us.

One of the evidence that God remembers us is when Jesus gave His life for us. He remembers us to save us. When God remembers us, then all of the best things will be given to us. Whatever we desire, whether it’s a spouse, job, and so on, God will provide the best for us. As said in Jeremiah 29:11, God will give the best future for us, so we should not worry about future. God is our hope towards our future; we can always depend on Him.

God also remembers each of our prayers. He always hears us when we pray to Him. It is written in James 5:16b that the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man has much of His power. The chapter of 1 Samuel 1 tells us a story about Hannah who had no children. Hannah wept and prayed to God asking for children. God listened to her prayer, and He eventually gave her a son. We have to believe that God always listens to our prayers, and He never forgets the prayers of the righteous. Although our prayers haven’t been answered, we should keep on praying to the Lord.

Never feel that God has forgotten us. We should trust Him. Man can forgets us, but Jesus never leaves nor forgets us. Jesus loves us so much, and He is always with us. No matter what situation we are in right now, remain strong in your faith.

 Believe that God is always there for us.
