Reading Verse: Leviticus 18:1-30
Many claim to have unfailing love, but a faithful person who can find?
Amsal 20:6
The Word of God says that many will say they are kind, but a faithful person who can find? Based on this we know that God desires us to be His faithful people, especially in fellowship with Jesus. Not only in good times, but also in all circumstances we have to keep our faith. Never stay away from our faith, but remain strong in our fellowship with Jesus.
It is written in Revelation 2:10 b that if you remain faithful even when facing death, I will give you the crown of life. There may be many challenges that make us hard to be faithful, but at least don’t let it sacrifice our faith. Keep in mind that Jesus has proven His faith to us by sacrificing His own life for the sake of our life. No faith is greater than what He has done for us, so we should keep remain faithful.
In the Word of God, we can also see the faithfulness of Ruth. In the story, her husband had died but she remained faithful by following Naomi as her mother in law. Wherever was Naomi, there was Ruth. In life, there are many things we can do with our faith, and one of them is serving God. We have to serve Him with everything God has entrusted us. Even though it is a small thing, keep working on it with sincerity and faith because whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much (Luke 16:10). Despite of problems and challenges keep your faith in serving God.
Faith is also required while we are praying. The Word of God says that we should pray all the time continuously, in other words never stop praying. Although we haven’t received the answer to our prayers, God always listens and He will answer at the perfect time. So don’t give up in prayers as well as in all of our hopes.
Do our part with faith so that in the end we will enjoy His promise. Amen.
