Years ago, Ps. Suwito Adi and his pastoral team faced problems, as the local people did not allow them to renovate and enlarge their old church building. So, they decided to purchase the land in Tulang Bawang, but they had no idea how they would accomplish to build a new church building. With their limited funds, they could only build the foundation and four walls. Then, they had to stop the building process four years ago because they had no more funds.
The waiting period was painstaking, but God confirmed through some of His servants that the church building would be accomplished. One night, Ps. Suwito even had a dream of receiving a cheque worth of 200 million Rupiah from heaven. He didn’t know who God would use as His channel of blessing until he met with Anugrah Ministries through some divine appointment.
Working together with GBI Icon, Anugrah Ministries took this project as their 11th Church MakeOver. It took seven months to do the topping off and finishing of the church. On the 2nd of August 2012, the new church building was inaugurated by the wife of the Mayor. 500 people came to witness the ceremony.
During the night, we held a Revival Meeting there. Ps. Adi Manuhutu emphasized that this church would be a House of Sacrifice and Prayer. Ps. Daniel Hendrata confirmed that God has a great plan for the church, congregation, and even the Tulang Bawang area. Therefore every member of the church must be ready to be used by God. To God, be all glory!
