THE POWER OF SYNERGY

“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.”

1 Peter 2:9-10 NKJV

By 31st of October 2011, the world population has reached 7 billions, and probably there are only 20% are the true believers of Jesus Christ.  Where as in Indonesia, there are about 241 millions people live here, around 182 millions who do not believe the Good News of Jesus, more than 74 millions live under sub poverty condition and many are scattered in cities, towns, valleys and mountains of our regions. Therefore, can this be the mission that Jesus wants us to do while we are still here?

A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD is a very powerful word. Consist of two meaning and anointing. Royal is basileios (Greek) means kingly, it talks about authority that was lost in the Garden of Eden and now being put back to us as a result of believing Christ. Priesthood is hierateuma (Greek) means being a priest, it talks about a privilege to be able to communicate again with God at any time and any moment since now Christ lives in us.

In the life application, some serve and dedicate their lives in the marketplace, and some other serve and dedicate their lives more in the full time ministries. When we do not understand about this calling then there will be chaos. These two calling cannot go and work separately as it will cripple the body of Christ in a whole. Therefore, it is essential to create a synergy between these two groups.  Then we will have the confidence that the impact will be real and powerful.

It has been six years since Anugrah Ministries started to reach people out with our programs. The impact is real and growing beyond what we can see. That applies also for those who have been supporting these programs, the Lord has blessed them abundantly both in their finance and other aspect as well. This has been promised by the Lord especially to those who sow in tears that you shall reap in shouts of joy! (Psalm 126:5). That also means if when we don’t sow we don’t reap.

We thank you for all your support for Anugrah Ministries for the past 2011. We are looking forward to seeing you working together with us. God bless you!!
