Reading verse: Exodus 11: 1 – 10
“Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved,
he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. “
James 1: 12 (NKJV)
A student who wishes to ascend to the next level of education must first pass an examination before proceeding to that next level. An examination, a test or a trial of any kind is not a very enjoyable process when one is experiencing it. However, it has to be done for the sake of goodness. The bible tells us about Job who experienced such a tremendous trial. We might not be able to even imagine the intense of his trial. However, in the midst of his trial, Job stayed strong and maintained his faith, and eventually God healed his life and his condition. God amazingly restored what Job had lost. The key to all of this is to remain strong in the midst of trials.
Likewise, we too, experience trials in our lives. It is indeed unpleasant to our flesh; however, we have to stay strong in it. We must be able to go through the process that God had intended for us and finish it. Trust that all things work together for good (Romans 8: 28). Every process never exceeds human strength, and all is bearable. God knows our capability, and He will also give us the strength we need, and even a perfect hope. Besides, we need to realize that there is a time for every trial that we face, and that God will make everything beautiful in His time. Thus, we need to remain optimistic, patient and persistent in God, for He embraces His children to enter His perfect plan, when they obey Him.
To remain strong in Him, we need to at least stay close to Him in prayers, for He is the source of our strength. And when we pray, God will give us His wisdom in facing each problem. Whatever we are facing right now, never be weak. Instead, remain strong in Him, for in Him lies hope and a guarantee. We have to accept the process and not run away from it, for everything is definitely good. It is through these processes that we may know God personally in an extraordinary way. Remember that God’s plans are always the best for us and that His loving kindness endures forever.
Remain strong in God. Amen.
