Scriptures: Mark 10:46-52

And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
Mark 10:47

When we have to go through unpleasant circumstances, some people may try to overcome them in order to reach victory. Like an athlete who gets up when he fails, for sure he will reach success. On the other hand, some people who become pessimistic and give up easily, it will be hard for them to become victorious. Being pessimistic is a hindrance for us in pursuing our dreams. As God’s people, we should not give up easily, because Jesus always opens the way.

In God, there is always a solution for any circumstances, as God is able to do great and mighty things. We must keep an optimistic attitude. The unpleasant circumstances that we may face are not going to stay forever. Everything can change. Our lives do not depend on luck. God never designed us to be weakling and surrender easily under circumstances. We must move forward, and focus on God’s purpose for us.

Romans 8:37 says that we are more than conquerors in God. A conqueror is not someone who surrenders to difficulties, but someone who tries again and again when he fails, until he becomes triumphant. Moreover, when we are in God, He will definitely give us victory. In this way, our lives will not be defeated by circumstances; instead we must win over the circumstances.

The next attitude is we must keep moving forward. Keep trying whatever the circumstances are and face tomorrow with full confidence. We must be able to face the circumstances and not run away from them. Ask God for strength, so we will be able to face everything. God will always be with us and enable each one of us. The beloved of God, He also promised to give us good future (Jeremiah 29:11). May we all hold on to the promise of God, so we will not give up easily. (J/DC)

The choice now is in our hands whether we will keep moving forward or give up.

Nevertheless, let’s make sure that we will never give up, because we have Jesus who will enable us and is able to do great and mighty things..
