The second church that we made is GPDI Teluk Naga located at Pangkalan Village, Tangerang. Pastor Petrus Doulos Simbong had pioneered to build a church in that community since 7 years ago. His congregation are simple village people. Many still do not understand the hygiene concept. They bathe, pass bowel, and wash their clothes at the same river.
Pastor Petrus desired to not only complete the Church building but also to change the lives of the community. He managed to raise 125,000 Rupiah (equivalent to US $ 12) from his church members and put it in the Lord’s hands as 5 loaves and 2 fish.
He came to Anugrah Ministries’ office as reffered to by Mr. David Hardi (the Taxi Evangelist) and met with our team. After much prayer, our team decided to take over the project. We helped to build the church to completion, and build roadway, public bathrooms, washing areas and toilets for the community.
By doing this, we hope GPDI Teluk Naga church can become salt and light to the surrounding neighbourhood. Many souls will be added into the Kingdom of God. Amen.
