Anugrah Ministries (Anugrah Pressindo Foundation) is a non-profit organization that carries out its vision and mission for humanity and social cause by: spreading the Good News (Gospel) of Jesus Christ through media, eradicating poverty through education and health program, also sending relief for the nation-wide natural disasters victims in times of emergency.
Founded by Ps. Daniel Hendrata and Ps. Debby Catharina, together with Mr. Agustinus Hendrata and Mrs. Anita Sutanti, Anugrah Ministries officially started its operation when Good News TV program was first aired on QTV on the 21st of September 2005.
Up to January 2015, Anugrah Ministries has been in operational for ten years, and these are the social impacts it has given to the society at large:
- 25 churches have been rehabilitated in the Church MakeOver program
- 42 Anugrah Learning Centres in a variety of locations throughout Indonesia have been established as a place to get free tutorial and character building for the poor children
- 1 Children Care Home (Pondok Kasih Anugrah) in Uetuwu, interior of Central Sulawesi
- 2 Elementary Schools in Takanutu and Uetuwu, interior of Central Sulawesi
- 475 under-privileged children have been receiving scholarship in the Adikku Sayang program
- 600 under-privileged children have been receiving free tutoring in Anugrah Learning Centre
- 350 inmates from the Cipinang Correction Centre for drug abuse haven been receiving Biblical teachings, hygiene supplies and/or meals every two months
- In 2013, we sent relief: food supplies and drinking water to more than 600 families, along with free medics to 1,000 patients (Jakarta flood-stricken victims) in Kapuk Mangga Ubi, North Jakarta
- In 2010-2011 we sent relief: food supplies , blankets, and medicine to the victims of Mt. Merapi eruption in Magelang and Muntilan, Central Java
- In 2010 we gave free medics to more than 1,500 patients in Kodi and Waimangura, West Sumba
- In 2009-2010 we sent relief: food supplies, blankets, medicine, drinking water, generators, and we rebuilt Earthquake victims in Padang, West Sumatra
- In 2008 we distributed food supplies to more than 500 poor families who had become victims of the Monetary Crisis in North Jakarta
- In 2006-2007 we sent relief: food supplies, meals, drinking water, medicine, and school supplies to more than 500 families (Jakarta flood victims in Teluk Gong, North Jakarta)
- In 2006 we sent relief: food supplies, drinking water, tents, and generators to the Jogjakarta Earthquake victims in Sleman, Bantul, and Mt. Kidul, Central Java
- And many more
