Reading Verse: Exodus 25:1-40
Now then, just as the Lord promised, he has kept me alive for forty-five years since the time he said this to Moses, while Israel moved about in the wilderness.
So here I am today, eighty-five years old!
Joshua 14:10
When God made a promise to Abraham that he would have a son, it didn’t happen overnight. Abraham had to wait for quite a long time. But God fulfilled His promise, and He gave Abraham a son. As in this life, when God has made a promise, He will fulfil it. Waiting may seem to be a boring thing to do because most people like everything that is instant. But we must be patient and persevere in life. It is written in Ecclesiastes 3: 11 that God has made everything beautiful in its time. He is never late and always on time. Jesus will always prevail His help in His perfect timing.
While waiting for His promise, we need to be patient. Don’t worry about the current situation because when God has made a promise, He will fulfill it. In the Word of God there is a astory about Caleb. When he received God’s promise through Moses, he was 40 years old. And God’s promise was fulfilled when Caleb was 85 years old. We all know that 45 years is not a short time. But during that period of time Caleb never gave up nor being far from God. He was patient and persevere doing his part until God fulfilled His promise. God never lies about His promise, the same story as God fulfilled His promise to Abraham.
Keep believing and never doubt. Even though God hasn’t revealed His promise now, keep your faith that Jesus will fulfill it. Trust is a key to see the revelation of God’s glory. The Word of God says that happy of those who haven’t seen but believe. From this moment on, we have to keep believing until His promise is fulfilled.
Keep being joyful while waiting for God’s promise because His promise will truly be prevailed in our lives. The joy of God is our strength.
Stay in God’s promise because this is also our strength. Whatever we are going through, keep holding on His promise. Keep hoping for the best and never doubt on God’s promise because His promise never fails. Amen.
Stay in God’s promise because this is our strength.
