We were given the chance to share to the convicts in Class 2A Correction Center, Pemuda, Tangerang, about Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. There were already around 110 inmates awaiting for us. There were 11 foreigners in their group, from America, China, India, Irak, Pakistan, and the Czech Republic, so we had to translate for them.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6890\" src=\"https:\/\/www.anugrah.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/WhatsApp-Image-2016-12-20-at-12.30.04_compressed.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"960\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.anugrah.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/WhatsApp-Image-2016-12-20-at-12.30.04_compressed.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/www.anugrah.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/WhatsApp-Image-2016-12-20-at-12.30.04_compressed-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.anugrah.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/WhatsApp-Image-2016-12-20-at-12.30.04_compressed-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.anugrah.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/WhatsApp-Image-2016-12-20-at-12.30.04_compressed-554x416.jpg 554w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Christmas service started with praise and worship, testimonies, and then was followed by a sermon from Pastor Daniel Hendrata. The theme today was \u201cLOVE STORY\u201d, taken from Matthew 15:11-32, on how the Lord so loves His children, that He sacrificed Himself to save them and to redeem those who want to repent. Pastor Daniel also said to the inmates to not depend on their own strength when they want to repent, but to depend fully on the Lord Jesus. He will be the One who equips us, and enables us to change and receive restoration. In the end of the sermon, Pastor Daniel challenged the convicts to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6891\" src=\"https:\/\/www.anugrah.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/WhatsApp-Image-2016-12-20-at-12.30.15_compressed.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"960\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.anugrah.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/WhatsApp-Image-2016-12-20-at-12.30.15_compressed.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/www.anugrah.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/WhatsApp-Image-2016-12-20-at-12.30.15_compressed-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.anugrah.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/WhatsApp-Image-2016-12-20-at-12.30.15_compressed-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.anugrah.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/WhatsApp-Image-2016-12-20-at-12.30.15_compressed-554x416.jpg 554w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There were around 60 people who responded to the altar call. They went forward and accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, into their hearts and lives. We prayed to break any strongholds and commanded restoration to happen in their lives through Jesus. After we finished praying, we lit candles and sang Silent Night.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6889\" src=\"https:\/\/www.anugrah.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/IMG_3546_compressed.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1555\" height=\"1036\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.anugrah.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/IMG_3546_compressed.jpg 1555w, https:\/\/www.anugrah.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/IMG_3546_compressed-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.anugrah.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/IMG_3546_compressed-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.anugrah.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/IMG_3546_compressed-554x369.jpg 554w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1555px) 100vw, 1555px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After the service, we distributed lunch boxes and goodie bags to the inmates (towel and toiletries) for their Christmas Present. They were very grateful for our attention to them, and in return we also felt the joy of giving in this Christmas of 2016. Thank you for all the support that we receive, that enables us to be the extension of God\u2019s hand, to keep blessing those in needs, or those forgotten. Merry Christmas!
