Ps. Daniel Hendrata & Ps. Debby Catharina, together with the team of Anugrah Ministries had an opportunity to minister at Youth Correction Center Class IIA in Tangerang Lama. We were bringing Good News to the inmates in a mid-week service which they are having regularly, also to celebrate Passover together with them.<\/p>\n
Working together with the team of AbbaLove, when we arrived that morning, 98 of the inmates who joined as the congregation were already waiting for us. They also participated in the service, as the praise and worship team, ushers, multimedia, and sound operator; this is some of the ways to mentor them.<\/p>\n
Ps. Daniel Hendrata was preaching about the Cross; how Jesus has paid in full for all of our sins. He reminded us that life is God\u2019s grace that we should not take for granted. During altar call, Ps. Daniel challenged the inmates to seek God and His righteousness more sincerely, also prayed for them so they can have a better life in the future when they finally complete their sentences. About 25 of them responded to the altar call, and moved forward to be prayed for and received restoration.<\/p>\n
After that, we distributed goodie bags consisting of towel, tooth brush, tooth paste, soap, and shampoo as their Passover souvenier. We also handed out lunch box to everyone who attended the service. We pray that God\u2019s name be glorified when we care and minister to those who are forgotten and not counted as part of the society. As the Word of God put it in Matthew 25:40 that if we do it for the least among the people, we are doing it for God. Amen.<\/p>\n
