Good News! 2 of our kids, Imanuel and Viane from Pondok Kasih Anugrah, Uetuwu sub-village, interior of Sulawesi, and 1 teacher, Bonis came to Jakarta at the end of September to be trained in Raising Star Institute for three months. Thanks to Mr. Anthony Santoso (Executive Director of Raising Star Institute) who endorsed this program, both Imanuel and Viane get a chance to learn school lessons in English, and Mr. Bonis get to teach in English.<\/p>\n
It’s amazing how God works. He has not forgotten these children from the indigenous tribe of Wana, and He is giving them a chance to not only be educated, but also have equal opportunity or privilege as children from Jakarta. “We see Anugrah School as an effort to obey the Great Commission and we want to take part in this honorable effort of obedience to Christ,” stated Mr. Anthony Santoso.<\/p>\n
In the future, Raising Star Institute will be the sister school of TK and SD Anugrah, which is still under construction in Uetuwu sub-village at this point of time. We really thank God for this partnership, and hope that through the education we are bringing to this remote place, the lives and the future of the Wana children can be changed, for His glory. Amen!<\/p>\n
