We were bringing the joy of Christmas to the orphans at Pondok Si Boncel Orphanage. Though we celebrated Christmas early this year, but it didn\u2019t diminish the essence of Christmas itself. The children were so joyful welcoming us, as a magician and three clowns started the show. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and little one\u2019s yell of thrill.<\/p>\n
Besides celebrating Christmas with the orphans, one of our main goals for this visit was to mentor our younger generations, so they can learn to care for others. Coming together with us, Mrs. Jacqueline Bastiaan Wijaya, and her daughter: Jasmine, Ps. Daniel Hendrata\u2019s son: James, and Christabelle Marbun (aka Abelle, young actress and Ambassador of Adikku Sayang scholarship program) together with her two parents, Mr. Alan and Mrs. Cyra.<\/p>\n
Abelle also presented a song \u201cEsok Penuh Harapan\u201d to entertain the orphans. Then, Ps. Daniel Hendrata shared the word of God about The Meaning of Christmas. We also donated rice, green beans, infant\u2019s formula, goodie bags, fast food, cupcakes by Caf\u00e9 Sweet, clothes, and toys.<\/p>\n
About 64 orphans were enjoying our event that day. After that, we were looking at the babies through the windows of their rooms. Special thanks to our sponsors for the support that we received that enabled us to share the joy of Christmas to these orphans. God bless you!<\/p>\n
