Reading Verse: Exodus 24:1-18<\/strong><\/p>\n

But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you,\u2028so that he will not hear<\/p>\n

Isaiah 59:2<\/strong><\/p>\n

A prayer is one way to communicate with God. Some people always stay close in prayers since there are many things we can ask for through prayers. It is written in Matthew 7:7-8 \u201cAsk and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.\u201d So when we ask our Father, He will answer our prayers. And when we ask we must believe and ask in faith because without faith it will be hard for us to get the answer. Whatever we ask for in prayers has to be with full of faith. It is written in Jacob 1:6-7 that the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. Even though we haven\u2019t seen and haven\u2019t received the answer yet, we have to believe that God will answer each of our prayer requests. We just have to trust Him and don\u2019t doubt the power of prayer because without faith everything will be useless.<\/p>\n

Next, when we pray we have to correct ourselves and never keep a sin, for example remembering people\u2019s fault toward us because this can block our prayers and requests. It is written in Isaiah 59:2 that your iniquities have separated you from your God. God always listens to our prayers, but if there is a sin within us, this can be an obstacle. Therefore, make sure when we pray we are worthy before Him.<\/p>\n

In addition, never focus on your own satisfaction in sending out prayers to God, but we have to surrender all to God\u2019s will. Let only His will happen upon us. A prayer that is worthy before God is a submissive prayer upon God\u2019s will. Submit every request to Him because Jesus knows the best for us. Never be afraid or doubtful in submitting everything to God.<\/p>\n

When we pray, be patient in waiting for God\u2019s perfect timing. Believe that God makes everything beautiful in its time, and He always answers our prayers. Believe that until now God is still listening our prayers and requests. Let\u2019s raise our prayer request accordingly to God\u2019s will. His power never changes in answering our prayers and requests.<\/p>\n
