Proverbs 18:20-21 – ESV<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Many people don\u2019t pay attention to the words they are saying. They don\u2019t realize that their words have the power to hurt or to heal, to build or to destroy!<\/b><\/p>\n

A country is built when the founders proclaim her liberty, just like when Soekarno and Hatta proclaimed the independence of our nation, Indonesia, on 17th<\/sup> of August 1945. A marriage starts when the couple pronounces their vow on the altar of God, and it is destroyed when the couple starts to say the \u201cD\u201d (divorce) word \u2013 in both cases, the papers are just the manifestation of their speech.<\/p>\n

God created the world and the universe with His Word. He called those things into existence.\u00a0 He created us in His image and likeness, therefore we also have the power to change our circumstances or to create things that we know we are supposed to have, but we don\u2019t have yet.<\/p>\n

Based on this truth, your words will also determine your destiny. This is how: Your word will determine your thinking and feeling. The way you feel will determine the decision you make. Your decision determines your action, which in time will mould your habits. Your habits determine your character, and thus your destiny.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I am going to give some keys to those who want to see changes in their lives:<\/p>\n

1. Have the desire to change<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Are you satisfied with your current situation in life? If you don\u2019t then you need to have the desire to change. It means you need to be separated from bad companies. \u00a0Life is like a garden, words are like seeds. With whom you spend your time will determine the kind of future you will have. You will hear what they speak and you will also speak they way they speak.\u00a0 So, if you spend more time in the Word of God and the fellowship of the saints, you are having good seeds to be constantly sown into your life.<\/p>\n

2. Speak it.<\/b><\/p>\n

Speak the kind of harvest that you want to have. Declare it! Use your word wisely, even if what you see and hear are not in line yet with the promise of God. It is time to rise higher above your circumstances. When you are sick, confess that you are healed. When you are broke, confess that you are prosperous. When your marriage is facing divorce, confess that you and your house shall serve the Lord and become a role model for other marriages.<\/p>\n

\u00a03.\u00a0<\/strong>Believe it<\/b><\/p>\n

Life is about making choices, including what we believe in. When we choose to believe the Word of God, then we will do the right things. Right believing will produce right living. When we believe in the change we want to make, then we will adjust our lifestyle accordingly.<\/p>\n

\u00a04.\u00a0<\/strong>Make an action plan<\/b><\/p>\n

Failing to plan is as good as planning to fail. Winning is about having the right strategy. There is no problem too big or too small for God to handle and care about. He is more than able to give you a specific strategy that will be so relevant to your situation. This action plan will also function like a mirror to see your standing. Supposedly, when you have a marital problem or facing chapter eleven, through action plan, you will be able to identify the root cause of the problem. Then you will know what needs to be changed.<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/b>Work it<\/b><\/p>\n

Faith with no action is as good as dead. Many people know they need to work on something, but they refuse to do it. When Peter met Jesus, he had a crisis. But after hearing Jesus preach His word, his faith started to rise up. When he was willing to cast his net, he got a net-breaking result!! Never before had he gotten so much fish like that. In the same manner, the same Jesus who blessed Peter also wants to prosper and heal you, break any bad habits and addictions, so you can live to the fullest and become an effective influence to your society, to bring many to know Him. They too can be blessed the way He blesses you.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Do not be afraid or dismayed because greater is He that is in you than he that is in this world. <\/strong><\/p>\n
