Tough Personality

Reading Verse: Exodus 32:1-35

No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer.

2 Timothy 2:4

As believers, we don’t always have a tough personality. Sometimes we experience weakness and fall into failures. But, we should remember God’s promise, that He will make us conquerors; our path of life will not go down but up so we should have tough personality. Our life is not determined by our situations so we shouldn’t become weak. As an eagle fly high and flap its wings, we should bravely go through life.

With tough personality, we shouldn’t just give up. Believe that there is always hope in Jesus. Instead of giving up and taking a shortcut or a way against God’s word, we should keep our spirit up and keep walking in Christ. Even when we feel weak or feel like giving up, ask new strength from God because He is able to restore us.

Having tough personality, we should own belief and strong confidence in God even in hard times. Don’t doubt and believe that God will always help and there is always a way out. Learn to trust in Jesus alone, He is able to help us. When we trust Jesus, help will come for us.

Patience and gratitude are also part of having tough personality. Our life is sometimes colored by challenges and problems. But we shouldn’t become weak; we should be patient in God and thank Him because He is good. Face everything with patience and surrender all to God. It’s not easy to be patient, but sometimes God wants to train our patience and everything will be allright in His timing. Patience will bring us into the fulfillment of His promises. Thankfulness will make us feel peaceful and joyful.

In order to stay strong, we must always read the Word of God because it is a living bread that will give us strength. Everyday we should fill our spirit with the Word to be strengthened in facing all things as well as filling our spirit with prayer, praise and worship to God.

Let’s start from today to be a strong and tough personality. Let’s face everything with God, and with Jesus we will become conquerors. Amen
