Reading Verse: Exodus 3: 1 – 22

“Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me under Your wings…”

Psalms 17: 8 (NKJV)

The eye is a very important body part. Everyone would take very good care about heir eyes and would not let anyone hurt them. The same goes for us in God’s eyes. God loves us very much that He treats us as the apples of His eye. Being the apples of His eye, God is constantly protecting and watching over us and ensuring that we are not in danger, just as no one would let others hurt the apple of their eyes, and always take care of it. That is how precious we are in God’s eyes. Though we might be surrounded by danger, Jesus will never let anything bad happen to us. He will constantly watch over our lives and His protection is just perfect for us. No matter where we are, we need not be afraid, for He is our protection.

Next, each and every one of us is very precious and special for God. He cares so much for us that He has provided a brilliant future for us filled with hope. There is no longer any need for us to worry about our future for God is the one who will give us a guarantee for our future. Human beings may find us worthless and useless, and this sometimes makes us feel inferior. However, be optimistic and trust that we are priceless in God’s eyes and He loves us and accepts us just the way we are. We are all so precious for Him.

As the apples of His eyes, He never forgets us. Jesus will always remember and be with us. Thus, do not ever feel that God has forgotten us. Trust that He loves us very much and cares so much for us, and even the things that happen around us. It may seem that we are experiencing something bad, however, remember that God works in all things to bring goodness for us (Romans 8: 28)

To continue being the apple of God’s eyes, keep on abiding in Him and build an intimate relationship with Him. Never walk astray from the path of righteousness for without His presence, we cannot do anything.

Let us be joyful and thankful as the apple of His eyes. Never give up in the struggles that we face or in the sufferings that we experience, for God understands us and He feels what we are feeling too. He will give us help. God has the best plans for us and He will give us victory. Amen. (J/DS)
