Reading Verse: Numbers 2:1-34

He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
Psalms 91:4
A scientist says that basically a life of human being is always in anxiety. And each person naturally tries to look for or create a comfort zone. In the book of Ephesians it is written that evils always walk roaring like a lion and search for its victim. So, we need protection every day. And where can we find the safe shelter? The only shelter for us is in Jesus because He is our fortress.

David wrote in Psalms 27:1 that the Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? Thus, never worry because the shelter of God is perfect. He is not like human who fails to protect us. On the other hand God always protects our lives. He guides us like a shepherd taking care of his sheep, which will always try to protect when his sheep is in danger. Like God, He will always guard our life, so when a danger comes, He will not let it harm us. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Our lives are safe with God.

In order to be always in His shelter, we must be close to God. As written in Psalms 91:1-2 that whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. And verse 2 continues: “I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

Keep praying to God asking for protection as prayer is one of our fortresses. A prayer is powerful even though it is a simple one. Pray and surrender all into God’s protection. If He is on our side, no one can go against us.

Let’s always live in His shelter. Amen
