This time Anugrah Ministries reached out to the Immigration Detention House, located in Kali Deres, Jakarta. This is the place where all the illegal immigrants are being detained, namely from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Sierra Lion, Nigeria, China, Croatia, Myanmar, Thailand, and many other countries. We conducted the service in English. They were very enthusiastic to praise and worship God together with us. Then Ps. Daniel was preaching about Matthew 11:28-30, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

At the end of the service, we prayed for each one of them. Most of them were so touched by the Holy Spirit that they shed tears, when they received the word of wisdom and knowledge. We also distributed 100 goodie bags in this place that each consists of towel, soap, shampoo, tooth paste, tooth brush, biscuits, coffee, tea, and cup noodles. Not to forget we also visited the families behind bars on the second floor, who are not allowed to go out beyond their compound. Some of them are families with more than 2 children. They were so happy to see us, interact with us, and to receive the goodie bags from us. Our hearts go out for them, especially those children. Please support us by praying for them.
